Green Festival: The Green Festival is being held at the Washington Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday. There will be presentations on different topics such as climate change. There will also be exhibits from many different environmental organizations and companies showing how they are green. This is a great festival to attend to learn more about living in an environmentally friendly way and have fun. Admission costs $15, which includes a 1 year membership to Co-op America and a 10% discount at the Green Festival Store. There is also a food drive associated with the event and you can get a special Green Festival poster if you bring 10 healthy non-perishable foods to donate.


Top Gun at Navy Heritage Center
: The Navy Heritage Center near the Navy Memorial shows a free film open to the public on most Saturdays. This Saturday the show is the popular movie Top Gun.

Scavenger Hunt - Lions, Tigers, Bears, Oh My: This is a Professionals in the City event taking place at the National Zoo this Saturday.

AIDS Walk Washington 2007: The walk to support charity to help find cures and make advancements in medicine related to AIDS is taking place this Saturday starting at 9am at the Freedom Plaza.
